The NIO EC6 is a mid-size electric crossover for the Chinese domestic market. All-wheel drive with two motors is not the mark of a top trim here, but the single arrangement shared by the entire range.
Even the entry car is far from modest at 320 kW, about 435 hp, while the strongest version makes 400 kW, roughly 544 hp. All 26 versions of the price list stand above the 58.84 kW threshold. No multi-speed gearbox is fitted, and drive runs through a single-speed reducer.
The body barely changes from one version to the next: 4,849 or 4,850 mm long, 1,965 to 1,995 mm wide, 1,697 to 1,731 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2,900 or 2,915 mm. Cabins seat 5, and the differences inside the series amount to a few tens of millimetres that are hard to spot by eye.
Batteries hold from 70 to 100 kWh and quoted range covers 430 to 655 km. Factory prices are high for a crossover of this size, from 358,000 to 554,000 yuan. The list is long, and what moves along with the price is battery and output rather than the size of the car. The EC6 has been built since 2020, and Chinese sales over 12 months came to 8,722 cars.
