Changan Oshan 520

A compact electric saloon for the Chinese domestic market: the Oshan 520 has been on the price list since 2025, assembled by Changan. The series holds two versions, and both seat five.

The body is a three-box saloon and large for the compact class: 4770 mm long, 1840 mm wide, 1470 mm tall, with a 2765 mm wheelbase. Both versions carry exactly the same shell, down to the millimetre.

The drivetrain is shared as well: one electric motor of 105 kW (143 hp) turning the front wheels. There is no conventional gearbox — a single-speed reduction gear sits between motor and wheels, with nothing to shift. The battery holds 56 kWh, and quoted range is 515 km.

That leaves a range whose hardware does not change from one version to the other, while the price does, from 106,800 to 166,800 yuan. The difference between the cheap car and the expensive one is not to be looked for in the running gear.

Sales in China over the past 12 months came to 10,977 cars.
