The X9 is a large minivan from Xpeng, sold on the Chinese domestic market. The series covers both fully electric versions and series hybrids, in which the combustion engine works as a generator.
Output is quoted between 210 and 370 kW, roughly 286 to 503 hp. Hybrid versions add a 1,499 cc combustion engine, about 1.5 litres, certified to the China 6 standard. No stepped gearbox is fitted: a single-speed reducer sends drive to the rear wheels, with the motor at the rear, or to all four through two electric motors.
Battery capacity differs substantially, from 63.3 to 110 kWh, while quoted range spans 452 to 750 km. The body hardly varies: length 5,293 to 5,316 mm, width 1,988 mm, height 1,785 mm, wheelbase 3,160 mm. The cabin seats 7 in every version.
The factory price list holds 17 versions, from 309,800 to 419,800 yuan, and the series has been built since 2024. Against the 58.84 kW threshold all 17 versions sit above it. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 24,557 cars.
