Xpeng P7+

Xpeng sells the P7+, a business-class saloon, on the domestic Chinese market. Demand is steady: 48,958 cars of the series were sold there over the past 12 months.

The line-up holds 8 versions, with output from 180 to 230 kW, roughly 245 to 313 hp. There is no conventional gearbox: a single-speed reduction gear takes the drive, power goes to the rear axle alone and the motor sits at the back, with no version driving both axles quoted for the series. The 58.84 kW mark, equal to 80 hp, is cleared by all 8 versions.

Two kinds of powertrain are offered: purely electric and extended-range. The latter carries an engine of 1,499 cc, about 1.5 litres, quoted to the China 6 emission standard. Battery capacity moves from 49.2 to 76.3 kWh and claimed range from 430 to 725 km.

The body is a long one: 5,056 to 5,071 mm in length, 1,937 mm wide and 1,512 mm tall, on a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Seating is for 5, and length is the only exterior figure that changes between versions. Factory prices lie between 186,800 and 218,800 yuan. The series has been in production since 2024.
