The G9 is a large crossover from Xpeng, intended for the Chinese domestic market. Like the other series of the brand it is electric throughout, with no combustion engine in any version.
Output runs from 230 to 423 kW, roughly 313 to 575 hp. There is no stepped gearbox: a single-speed reducer sends drive to the rear wheels, with the motor at the rear, or to all four wheels through two electric motors.
Battery capacity is quoted between 78.2 and 98 kWh, and range between 570 and 725 km. The body is shared across the series at 4,891 mm long and 1,937 mm wide on a 2,998 mm wheelbase; height varies only slightly, from 1,670 to 1,680 mm. Seating is for 5.
The price list holds 20 versions, from 248,800 to 469,900 yuan, and the series has been built since 2022. Against the 58.84 kW threshold all 20 versions sit above it. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 7,928 cars.
