Xpeng G7

The G7 is a mid-size Xpeng crossover for the domestic Chinese market, in production since 2025. Sales of the series over 12 months came to 29,477 cars.

All 7 versions in the range share the same output: 218 kW, about 296 hp. What separates them is not the motor but the energy carried on board. Drive goes through a single-speed reduction gear to the rear axle alone, with the motor sitting at the back. The 58.84 kW mark, equal to 80 hp, is far below the whole line-up of 7.

Two kinds of powertrain are offered. Some cars are purely electric, others are extended-range versions fitted with an engine of 1,499 cc, roughly 1.5 litres, quoted to the China 6 emission standard. Battery capacity moves from 55.8 to 80.8 kWh, and claimed range from 430 to 702 km.

Of the exterior figures only length changes, from 4,892 to 4,918 mm; the width of 1,925 mm, height of 1,655 mm and 2,890 mm wheelbase are common to the whole range. Seating is for 5. Factory prices sit in a narrow band, from 195,800 to 225,800 yuan.
