The Rongguang EV is a micro-van built by SAIC-GM-Wuling for the Chinese domestic market. The series is electric throughout, and versions differ mainly in seat count, body length and wheelbase.
Output is modest, 60 to 100 kW, or roughly 82 to 136 hp. No stepped gearbox is fitted: a single-speed reducer sends drive to the rear wheels, and the motor sits at the rear on every version.
Battery capacity runs from 31.9 to 41.6 kWh and quoted range from 252 to 310 km. Dimensions move about more than in most series: length 4,490 to 4,535 mm, width 1,615 to 1,732 mm, height 1,870 to 1,915 mm, wheelbase 2,850 to 3,050 mm. The cabin comes with 2, 5 or 7 seats.
The price list holds 23 versions and runs from 69,800 to 139,100 yuan, with the series built since 2020. Against the 58.84 kW threshold all 23 versions sit above it. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 4,647 cars.
