Wuling Starlight L星光L

The Starlight L is a large Wuling crossover laid out as a plug-in hybrid. SAIC-GM-Wuling assembles the car, and it is intended for buyers on the domestic Chinese market.

The powertrain is the same in all 3 versions: a combustion engine of 1,498 cc, about 1.5 litres, a quoted output of 78 kW, roughly 106 hp, and a CVT. Emissions are certified to the China 6 standard.

One battery size covers the range, 37.9 kWh, with claimed range of 260 km; neither figure varies from version to version. The body measures 4,980 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,760 mm tall, on a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Seating is for 6. Not one of the series' figures moves between versions, so whatever separates them lies outside the specification numbers.

Factory prices run from 112,800 to 135,800 yuan, again with the mechanical package shared. The series has been in production since 2026, and Chinese sales over 12 months came to 5,650 cars. On power all 3 versions remain below the 117.68 kW mark.
