Wuling Xingguang 560 New Energy星光560新能源

The Xingguang 560 New Energy is a compact-class Wuling crossover whose single range holds both a pure electric version and a plug-in hybrid. SAIC-GM-Wuling builds it for the domestic Chinese market.

Output ranges from 78 to 100 kW, roughly 106 to 136 hp. The hybrid side rests on a combustion engine of 1,498 cc, about 1.5 litres, certified to the China 6 standard. Two transmissions are used, a CVT and a single-speed reduction gear, each with its own kind of powertrain.

Battery and range figures are spread just as widely: capacity from 20.5 to 56.7 kWh, claimed range from 125 to 500 km. The extremes belong to different cars in the range rather than to one and the same. The body is shared — 4,745 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, 1,755 mm tall, on a 2,810 mm wheelbase, with seating for 5.

Factory prices sit close together, from 91,800 to 98,800 yuan. The series has been in production since 2026, and Chinese sales over 12 months came to 6,558 cars. On power the 2 versions fall on opposite sides of the threshold mark: one below it, one above.
