Wuling Rongguang荣光

The Wuling Rongguang is a microvan sold on the Chinese domestic market and assembled by SAIC-GM-Wuling. A single name covers a whole family here: bodies of different lengths, different seating layouts and two engines of different displacement.
Dimensions move around a good deal inside the series: length from 4,135 to 4,490 mm, width from 1,615 to 1,625 mm, height from 1,870 to 1,900 mm. The wheelbase varies even more, from 2,700 to 3,050 mm, and that is the main fork in the family. Seating is 2, 5 or 7.
That spread is normal for a microvan: the buyer picks a length and a number of rows first and an engine second. In practice one name therefore covers vehicles of different purpose, from near-commercial to passenger.
Two engines are listed, of 1,206 and 1,485 cc, with output between 56 and 73 kW, or 76 to 99 hp. All 11 versions stay below the 117.68 kW mark, the equivalent of 160 hp, and nothing in the series goes above it. The emissions certificate is China 6.
The factory price list starts at 40,800 yuan and ends at 57,550. The series has been built since 2011 and remains in production, and 14,691 cars were sold in China over the past 12 months.
