WEY Gaoshan New Energy高山新能源

WEY Gaoshan New Energy is a large plug-in hybrid minivan built by Great Wall and sold in China since 2023. Over 12 months 83,409 cars of the series were sold there.

The 11 versions gathered under one name differ more than usual. Two engine displacements are offered: 1499 cc, close to 1.5 litres, and 1998 cc, that is 2.0 litres. Rated output stretches from 115 to 175 kW, or 156 to 238 hp. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive both appear, and the emission standard is listed as China 6.

The body is not a single one either. Length moves from 5045 to 5410 mm, width from 1960 to 2005 mm, height from 1890 to 1925 mm, and the wheelbase from 3085 to 3275 mm. The cabin is laid out for 6 or 7, which is the clearest dividing line inside the range.

The electric side is spread just as widely: batteries from 19.9 to 51.6 kWh, with a declared electric range of 180 to 241 km.

Factory prices run from 272,800 to 405,800 yuan. Against the 117.68 kW mark, or 160 hp, most of the price list sits on the upper side: 3 versions stay below it, 8 are above.
