Volkswagen ID.3

The ID.3 is a compact battery-electric Volkswagen assembled by SAIC-VW for the Chinese market. It seats five, and 16,704 cars were sold in China over 12 months.
Every version shares the same output figure, 125 kW, about 170 hp. There is no conventional gearbox, drive goes through a single-speed reduction gear, and rear-wheel drive with the motor at the back is the only layout, so kilowatts are not how the versions are told apart.
Battery capacity runs from 52.8 to 57.3 kWh and the quoted range from 430 to 451 km. The body is compact and hardly varies: length 4,261 to 4,266 mm, width 1,778 mm, height 1,568 mm, wheelbase 2,765 mm.
Despite the single output figure the price list is long, with 44 entries priced from 129,888 to 192,900 yuan, and the car has been built since 2021. The 58.84 kW threshold, about 80 hp, does not split the family: all 44 versions sit above it.
