The bZ3 is a mid-size saloon running purely on electricity. It is built for the domestic Chinese market by FAW Toyota and sold there under the Japanese Toyota badge.
Motor output differs markedly across the line-up, from 135 to 180 kW, roughly 184 to 245 hp. Every version sends its drive through a single-speed reduction gear. That is a wide spread for a single series: the entry and top cars differ appreciably while looking the same from outside.
Battery capacity is quoted between 49.9 and 65.3 kWh, with claimed range from 510 to 616 km. The body is the same throughout: 4,725 mm long, 1,835 mm wide, 1,475 or 1,480 mm tall, on a 2,880 mm wheelbase. Seating is for 5.
The series has been in production since 2023. Factory prices for the 10 versions spread widely, from 109,800 to 199,800 yuan; since the body is shared, the whole gap falls to motor, battery and equipment. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 16,417 cars. For electrically driven cars the power mark sits at 58.84 kW, and all 10 versions stand above it.
