Tesla Model 3

The Model 3 is a mid-size battery-electric sedan from an American marque and a long-standing entry in the Chinese price list. It seats five, and Chinese sales over 12 months came to 167,124 units.

Output runs from 194 to 357 kW, roughly 264 to 485 hp. There is no conventional gearbox: drive goes through a single-speed reduction gear. Two layouts are offered, rear-wheel drive with the motor at the back and all-wheel drive on two electric motors.

Battery capacity spans 52 to 78.4 kWh and the quoted range 445 to 830 km. The body varies only slightly between versions: length 4,694 to 4,724 mm, width 1,848 or 1,850 mm, height 1,430 to 1,443 mm, with the same 2,875 mm wheelbase throughout.

The price list has grown to 31 entries over the years, running from 231,900 to 419,800 yuan, and the car has been built since 2019. The 58.84 kW threshold, about 80 hp, is never in play here: all 31 versions sit above it. What separates them is layout, battery size, quoted range and price.
