Roewe i6

The Roewe i6 is a compact-class saloon that SAIC builds for the domestic Chinese market. The series has no electric version: an internal combustion engine sits under the bonnet of every one of them.

Mechanically nothing moves across the price list: 1,495 cc, about 1.5 litres, 95 kW or 129 hp, and a CVT. Emissions are certified to the China 6 standard.

The body is a single one too, 4,767 mm long, 1,828 mm wide and 1,498 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2,755 mm, with 5 seats. The car is fairly long for the compact class, and most of that length is taken up by the wheelbase.

Factory prices sit in a tight corridor, from 74,900 to 84,900 yuan, across 3 versions. Choosing between them is therefore not a mechanical decision: engine, transmission and dimensions are identical from one to the next. The model has been built since 2026, and sales in China over the past 12 months came to 5,030 cars.
