ORA 5 EV

The ORA 5 EV is a compact crossover that Great Wall builds for the domestic Chinese market. Every version in the price list is electric; no internal combustion engine is offered anywhere in the range.

One motor serves the entire range: 150 kW, or 204 hp, driving through a single-speed reduction gear. With 5 versions on the list, output is not what tells them apart.

The split runs through the battery and the quoted range instead. Capacity moves from 45.3 to 58.3 kWh, and the stated range from 480 to 580 km. Those are two separate lines in the price list, and choosing within the series comes down to them.

The body is identical throughout: 4,471 mm long and 1,641 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. Only width shifts, from 1,833 to 1,844 mm. The cabin seats 5, and a wheelbase of that length under a body this size leaves short overhangs, so most of the car works for the interior.

Factory prices run from 99,800 to 133,800 yuan. The series is new: it has been built since 2026 and remains in production, with 13,731 sales in China over the past 12 months. Measured by output, all 5 versions sit above the 58.84 kW line, the equivalent of 80 hp.
