MG 7

The MG 7 is a mid-size sedan for the Chinese market, in production since 2007. The model is built by SAIC. The current lineup comprises 17 trims with internal combustion engines.

The MG 7 is offered with two petrol engines: a 1496 cc unit producing 138 kW and a 1986 cc unit rated at 192 kW. Transmissions include a 9-speed automatic and a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Drive is front-wheel only. The engines meet the China-6 emission standard.

The body measures 4884 mm in length, 1889 mm in width and 1447 mm in height on a 2778 mm wheelbase, with seating for five. All 17 trims sit above the 117.68 kW threshold in power output. Prices range from 119,800 to 178,900 yuan. Over the past 12 months, 9,469 units were sold on the Chinese market.
