The V-Class is a large Mercedes-Benz MPV for the Chinese domestic market. Every version seats 7, drive goes to the rear axle, and the transmission is an automatic with 9 speeds.
Mechanically the range is close to uniform: two engines of similar capacity, 1,991 and 1,999 cc, both about 2.0 litres, and output from 155 to 170 kW, or roughly 211 to 231 hp. Some entries carry a hybrid drivetrain, and the emission standard is China 6.
The body is where the real choice lies. Length runs from 5,140 to 5,400 mm and the wheelbase from 3,200 to 3,430 mm, so two sizes share one name. Height falls between 1,880 and 1,920 mm, while width is fixed at 1,928 mm.
Factory prices open at 478,000 yuan and reach 669,800, across 15 entries, so the spread here is wider in money than it is in hardware. The model has been built since 2016 and remains in production. On output all 15 versions sit above the 117.68 kW mark, or 160 hp. Sales in China over the past 12 months came to 6,025 cars.
