Mercedes-Benz A-Class AMGA级AMG

The compact Mercedes-Benz saloon in AMG form is built for the Chinese market by Beijing Benz. All-wheel drive runs through the whole range, and plain combustion versions sit in the price list next to hybrid ones.

Output never moves through the list: 225 kW, or 306 hp, from a single engine of 1,991 cc, about 2.0 litres. The transmission is a wet dual-clutch unit, offered with either 7 or 8 speeds, and that is the only mechanical split anywhere in the series. The emission standard is China 6.

Dimensions barely shift from entry to entry: length between 4,630 and 4,637 mm, height between 1,416 and 1,422 mm, width 1,796 mm, wheelbase a constant 2,789 mm. Every version seats 5.

Factory prices run from 395,100 to 439,800 yuan, with 8 entries in the list, and the gap between the outer two is a narrow one for a range of this size. The car has been built since 2019 and remains in production. On output the whole range sits above the 117.68 kW mark, which works out to 160 hp: 8 versions out of 8, with nothing below it.
