The Mazda CX-50 行也 is a compact crossover that the Changan Mazda joint venture has been assembling in Nanjing since 2023. It is a separate Chinese version of the global CX-50: the body is extended by about 66 mm (4785 mm long versus ~4719 mm on the North American car), and rear legroom is increased by about 55 mm thanks to a lowered rear floor. Our example is the base petrol 2.0L 领行版 (Lingxing) trim: a naturally aspirated SkyActiv-G 2.0L with 155 hp (114 kW, 200 Nm), a conventional 6-speed torque-converter automatic and front-wheel drive — without turbochargers or automated manual gearboxes, which is valued for reliability and predictability. Dimensions are 4785×1920×1638 mm with a 2815 mm wheelbase and a 1609 kg kerb weight; rated consumption is about 7.2 L/100 km (real-world owner figures closer to 8 L/100 km), fuel tank 55 L. Chinese specifics: besides the 2.0L, the range includes a naturally aspirated 2.5L petrol (188 hp) and a 2.5L HEV hybrid using Toyota components (from November 2023, with all-wheel drive available) — but our stock has only the base 2.0L. For the Russian recycling-fee relief the 2.0L petrol version qualifies: 155 hp falls within the ≤160 hp threshold, though the margin is minimal (just 5 hp); the 2.5L versions (188 hp) would no longer qualify.
