Mazda CX-4 · The only generation, 2021款 facelift (FAW Mazda, produced 2016–2025), Mazda CX-5 platform

The Mazda CX-4 is a compact C-class coupe-crossover, built exclusively for the Chinese market by the FAW Mazda joint venture (一汽马自达) from 2016; from 2023 production was continued by Changan Mazda (长安马自达) until the model was discontinued in 2025. The car is based on the CX-5 platform but has a lower, sloping 'fastback' roof and a sporty coupe silhouette, making it a choice for those who value design and handling over maximum practicality. Two naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G petrol engines were offered on the Chinese market: a 2.0-litre — 116 kW / 158 hp, front-wheel drive only and a conventional 6-speed automatic — and a 2.5-litre — 141 kW / 192 hp, with front- or all-wheel drive. Both trims in our stock (蓝天探索版 'Exploration' and 蓝天活力版 'Active') are the 2.0L FWD with 158 hp: they fall within the ≤160 hp threshold and qualify for the reduced recycling fee for an individual importing for personal use, whereas the 2.5L versions (192 hp) do not. The model is China-only and reaches Russia only through parallel import, without Mazda's official warranty support.
