The Mazda CX-30 is a compact 'urban SUV'-class crossover, built on the fourth-generation Mazda3 platform and assembled in China by Changan Mazda (Nanjing). It is a global model with the same body (4395 mm), not a China exclusive — it should not be confused with the China-only CX-4 and the long-wheelbase CX-50 行也. A single petrol engine was offered for the Chinese market — the naturally aspirated 2.0L Skyactiv-G (创驰蓝天) with 158 hp and 202 Nm and the GVC Plus torque-vectoring system, paired with a 6-speed automatic (the base had a 6-speed manual) and front-wheel drive; the 2.5T turbo, Skyactiv-X and all-wheel drive were not officially supplied to China. The car is aimed at a buyer who values the signature KODO design, precise 'car-like' handling and above-class finish quality rather than maximum space — the rear row and trunk (430 L) are modest. The 2021 factory trims carried names of the 悦 series (尚悦/雅悦/耀悦/尊悦); the 'Comfort' stock trim is the seller's label corresponding to the base-to-mid 2.0L AT version. With 158 hp the model qualifies for Russia's recycling-fee relief for an individual importing for personal use (threshold ≤160 hp), but the margin is just 2 hp — a borderline case requiring verification of the exact output (≈116 kW) against the vehicle passport/data plate on acceptance.
