Lynk & Co 09

The Lynk & Co 09 is a large crossover from a Chinese brand with a hybrid drivetrain, built since 2021. It is all-wheel drive, and the cabin comes in three seating layouts, from five to seven places.

The drivetrain is shared across the whole line-up: a 1,969 cc engine, that is 2.0 litres, rated at 187 kW, or about 254 hp. The gearbox is an 8-speed automatic, so the transmission is a stepped one, as on a conventional crossover. There is no engine to choose: the hardware is identical everywhere, and versions differ in equipment and cabin layout.

The car sits close to full-size territory: 5,042 mm long, 1,977 mm wide, 1,780 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2,984 mm. Seating is offered for 5, 6 or 7; the six-seat version with separate second-row chairs and the seven-seat one with a bench are effectively two different propositions on one body.

Factory pricing runs from 237,900 to 302,900 yuan, and with identical hardware throughout that spread comes down to equipment levels. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 11,911 cars, a steady figure without spikes. Emissions are certified to the China 6 standard. All 9 versions are rated well above the 117.68 kW mark.
