Luxeed R7

The Luxeed R7 is a large crossover offered on the Chinese market in two quite different forms: fully electric, and as a series hybrid. Choosing between them is a decision about the powertrain rather than about equipment level.

The body is long for the class: 4,956 to 4,982 mm depending on version, 1,981 mm wide and 1,634 to 1,650 mm tall, on a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Every cabin seats 5. There is no multi-speed gearbox, drive passes through a single-speed reducer, and buyers choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive with two motors.

Electric output spans 200 kW, about 272 hp, to 382 kW, roughly 519 hp, which puts all 24 versions of the price list above the 58.84 kW threshold. Hybrid versions add a 1,499 cc combustion engine, about 1.5 litres, certified to the China 6 standard.

Battery capacity varies widely, from 37 to 100 kWh, with quoted range from 251 to 802 km. Factory prices run from 249,800 to 339,800 yuan. The R7 has been in production since 2024, and Chinese sales over 12 months reached 47,775 cars.
