The L8 is a large crossover Li Auto sells on the Chinese domestic market: electric drive, with an onboard combustion engine working as a range extender. The cabin comes in two layouts, seating 5 or 6.
The hardware genuinely varies inside this range. Output runs from 330 to 420 kW, or 449 to 571 hp. Every version drives both axles through two electric motors and uses a single-speed reduction gear. The combustion engine measures between 1,496 and 1,498 cc, about 1.5 litres either way, and the emission standard is China 6.
Stored energy separates the versions most: battery capacity moves from 40.9 to 72.7 kWh and the claimed electric range from 210 to 430 km. That is the widest spread in the series, and the line between variants runs along it.
The body grows a little from one version to the next: length from 5,080 to 5,135 mm, width from 1,995 to 2,000 mm, wheelbase from 3,005 to 3,045 mm. Height stays at 1,800 mm throughout.
Factory prices run from 321,800 to 429,800 yuan across 11 entries. The model has been built since 2023 and remains in production. Sales in China over the past 12 months came to 24,889 cars.
