Lexus GX

The Lexus GX is a large crossover from the Japanese brand, offered on the Chinese market only as a hybrid, with either five or six seats depending on the version.

One engine serves the entire range: 2,393 cc, roughly 2.4 litres, rated at 207 kW, which works out at 281 hp. It is paired with an automatic of 8 ratios and all-wheel drive, and the traction battery holds 1.9 kWh. No other kind of powertrain is listed. The China 6 emission standard is quoted, and in output terms every version stays above the 117.68 kW mark, the equivalent of 160 hp.

Dimensions drift a little from version to version: length 4960 to 4970 mm, width 1980 to 2000 mm, height 1925 to 1935 mm. The wheelbase does not move at all and stands at 2850 mm, so the differences are confined to the outer body.

Eight versions are listed, with factory prices climbing from 778,000 to 899,800 yuan while the mechanical package stays the same. The model has been in production since 2004.
