Leapmotor D19

The Leapmotor D19 is a large SUV aimed at the Chinese domestic market and offered there with either six or seven seats. Over the past 12 months 29,553 cars of the series were sold.

The line-up is short — seven versions — and what separates them most is output: from 300 to 540 kW, or 408 to 734 hp. All of them drive all four wheels, though the layout differs, with either two electric motors or three; the transmission is a single-speed reduction gear throughout. The whole range sits well above the 58.84 kW mark, the equivalent of 80 hp.

Two types of powertrain are offered. Some versions are purely electric, others are extended-range cars carrying an engine of 1,499 cc, about 1.5 litres, quoted to the China 6 emission standard. Batteries are listed between 63.7 and 115 kWh, and the stated driving range covers 400 to 720 km.

The body is long: 5252 mm, with a width of 1995 mm and a wheelbase of 3110 mm, while height falls between 1780 and 1800 mm depending on the version. Factory prices run from 219,800 to 269,800 yuan, and the series has been in production since 2026.
