The JMEV Yizhi EV2 is a small electric car made for the Chinese domestic market. It is a sedan by body type and a city-sized minicar by scale. Sales of the series over the past 12 months came to 9,900 cars.
The series has been in production since 2022. Two motors are used: 26 kW, or 35 hp, and 30 kW, or 40 hp. The step between them is small, and both belong to city-level output. Drive goes through a single-speed reduction gear.
The battery is the same across the range, 15.9 kWh. Quoted range is given from 175 to 201 km, and the difference between versions falls inside that span.
The dimensions say plenty about the class: 3,500 mm long, 1,646 mm wide, 1,460 mm tall. A wheelbase of 2,340 mm on that length means the wheels are pushed right out to the corners with almost no overhang, which is how cabin space is won in this class. The cabin seats 4.
Factory prices in China run from 39,900 to 58,900 yuan. The full line of 9 versions fits inside that span, so the series stays within one price layer from the entry version to the top one.
