IM Motors LS9

The LS9 is a big sport-utility model from IM Motors with no battery-electric version in the line-up: every car in it is a series hybrid. Sales in China over 12 months came to 14,397 units.

Output runs from 380 to 550 kW, roughly 517 to 748 hp. All-wheel drive comes in two forms, with either two electric motors or three, and drive always goes through a single-speed reduction gear. One combustion engine serves the whole family, 1,496 cc, rated to the China 6 emission standard.

Battery capacity is 52 to 66 kWh, with a quoted range of 320 to 402 km. The dimensions are shared by every version: length 5,279 mm, width 2,000 mm, height 1,806 mm, a wheelbase of 3,160 mm and six seats. Factory prices start at 332,800 yuan and reach 379,800, and the model has been built since 2026.

The family holds just 4 versions, and all of them sit above the 58.84 kW threshold. Motor count, battery capacity and quoted range are what separate them, while the body and the seat count stay the same throughout.
