IM Motors LS6

The LS6 is a large crossover from IM Motors offered on the Chinese market in two energy forms, as a battery-electric car and as a series hybrid. Domestic sales over 12 months came to 53,434 units.

Output spans a wide band, from 216 to 579 kW, roughly 294 to 787 hp. Series-hybrid versions carry a combustion engine of 1,496 cc and are rated to the China 6 emission standard. No version has a conventional gearbox: drive goes through a single-speed reduction gear, and the layout is either rear-wheel drive with the motor at the back or all-wheel drive with two electric motors.

Battery capacity runs from 52 to 103 kWh and the quoted range from 370 to 802 km. The body barely changes across the family: length 4,904 to 4,937 mm, width 1,988 mm, height 1,669 to 1,673 mm, wheelbase 2,950 to 2,960 mm, with five seats throughout. Factory prices sit between 212,900 and 302,900 yuan, and the series has been built since 2023.

The 58.84 kW threshold does not split this range: all 30 versions stay above it. The dividing lines inside the family run elsewhere — through output, battery capacity and price rather than through that limit.
