IM Motors L6

The IM Motors L6 is an electric executive sedan made for the Chinese market. Over the past 12 months 15,799 examples were sold there, and the series is still carried in the brand's price list.

The output spread is very wide, from 216 to 579 kW, or roughly 294 to 787 hp. Some versions drive the rear axle through a rear-mounted motor, others add a second electric motor for all-wheel drive. The transmission is the same in every case, a single-speed reduction gear.

Batteries run from 74 to 123.7 kWh and the quoted range from 650 to 1,002 km. The body barely moves: length 4,924 to 4,937 mm, width 1,960 mm, height 1,474 mm, wheelbase 2,950 mm, five seats. The difference in length between versions amounts to no more than a few millimetres.

Factory prices go from 219,900 to 345,900 yuan and the sedan has been built since 2024. All 15 versions are above the 58.84 kW threshold by output, and not one of them falls below that line. Kilowatts, battery size and quoted range are what tell one version from another.
