Hongqi H5

The Hongqi H5 is a mid-size sedan for the Chinese market, in production since 2018. It is offered with hybrid and petrol powertrains, front-wheel drive, and prices ranging from 145,800 to 225,800 yuan.

The engine lineup spans displacements from 1498 to 1989 cc with outputs between 124 and 165 kW. Five units are available, carrying the codes CA4GB15TD-30, CA4GB15TD-34, CA4GC18TD-30, CA4GC18TD-31 and CA4GC20TD-33. Transmissions include 6- and 8-speed automatics, a CVT, and a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

The sedan body measures 4945 to 4988 mm in length, 1845 to 1875 mm in width, 1470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2875 to 2920 mm. The cabin seats five. All versions are front-wheel drive and comply with the China-6 emission standard.

The price list contains 53 trims, all of which sit above the 117.68 kW power threshold. Over 12 months, 129,173 units were sold on the Chinese market.
