The Tiangang 05 is a mid-size electric sedan wearing the Hongqi badge. It is aimed at buyers in China, where 3,983 cars found owners over the past 12 months.
Output runs from 210 to 340 kW, roughly 286 to 462 hp. Drive goes to the rear axle only, through a rear-mounted motor, and every version uses the same single-speed reduction gear. No all-wheel-drive option is offered.
Versions differ most in their batteries, from 62 to 98 kWh, with a quoted range of 550 to 850 km. The body is shared across the line: 4,820 mm long, 1,915 mm wide and 1,480 mm tall, on a 2,900 mm wheelbase, with five seats. The differences therefore lie in how much energy the car carries rather than in the bodyshell or the transmission.
Factory prices start at 159,800 yuan and reach 222,800, and the sedan has been in production since 2025. All 11 versions sit above the 58.84 kW threshold by output, so battery size and quoted range are what actually separate one from another.
