Haval Menglong New Energy猛龙新能源

Menglong New Energy is a compact Haval crossover with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive, assembled by Great Wall for the Chinese domestic market. Sales there over the past 12 months came to 65,922 cars.

The price list holds 15 versions. All of them share a 1,499 cc combustion engine, near enough 1.5 litres, and quoted output stays within a narrow band of 115 to 123 kW, roughly 156 to 167 hp.

That narrow band is exactly where the 117.68 kW mark falls, the figure that corresponds to 160 hp: 8 versions sit below it and 7 above. The line runs through the middle of the series rather than between this series and its rivals.

Battery capacity is quoted between 18.7 and 35.4 kWh across the range, and claimed electric range between 102 and 200 km. Emissions certification is to the China 6 standard.

The body measures 4,800 mm long on a wheelbase of 2,738 mm, with width given as 1,916 or 1,950 mm and height as 1,822 or 1,843 mm depending on the version. Seating is for 5. Factory prices run from 165,800 to 208,800 yuan, and the crossover has been built since 2023.
