The Galaxy L7 is a compact crossover with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that Geely built for the Chinese domestic market from 2023 to 2025. Sales in China over the past 12 months came to 5,510 cars.
The price list held 15 versions. The combustion engine is the same size in every one of them, 1,499 cc or about 1.5 litres, while quoted output runs from 82 to 120 kW, roughly 111 to 163 hp. Certification is to the China 6 emission standard.
Batteries in the range are quoted between 9.1 and 18.7 kWh. Claimed electric range covers 55 to 115 km, and it is here, rather than in the bodywork, that the versions differ most.
Dimensions barely move across the series: 4,700 or 4,710 mm long depending on the version, 1,905 mm wide, 1,685 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2,785 mm, with seating for 5.
Factory prices ran from 115,800 to 185,700 yuan. On power the line-up is weighted upwards: 3 versions stay below the 117.68 kW mark, the figure that corresponds to 160 hp, and 12 sit above it. Most of the range is therefore on the far side of that line, which makes the individual version, not the series as a whole, the thing worth checking.
