Ford Explorer探险者

The Ford Explorer is a large crossover built in China by Changan Ford. The price list holds 54 versions, and the cabin is laid out for 5, 6 or 7 people depending on the version.

Displacement is the same everywhere, 2,261 cc or 2.3 litres, while output differs slightly between versions: 203 to 213 kW, roughly 276 to 290 hp. The emissions rating recorded for the series is China 6.

Two transmissions appear across the range, an automatic and a 10-speed automatic, along with two drive layouts, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The body is big and moves a little from line to line: length from 5,061 to 5,075 mm and height from 1,778 to 1,798 mm. Width is 2,004 mm throughout and the wheelbase is 3,025 mm.

Factory prices run from 309,800 to 399,800 yuan. The car has been built since 2020, and sales in China over the past 12 months came to 10,626 cars. Measured against the 117.68 kW mark, the figure that equals 160 hp, the range does not split: all 54 versions sit on the upper side.
