Fangchengbao Bao 8豹8

The Bao 8 is a large Fangchengbao crossover for the Chinese domestic market, in production since 2025. Every version is a plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive; the price list has no variant without an electric part.

Seating is the main dividing line inside the range: the cabin is offered with 5, 6 or 7 seats, three layouts under one model name.

The mechanical package does not follow suit. Output is 180 kW, or 245 hp, throughout, the combustion engine displaces 1997 cc, a CVT with no fixed ratios handles the drive and the emission standard is China 6, so the whole line-up sits above the 117.68 kW mark. Battery capacity is the one figure that moves, from 36.8 to 46.7 kWh.

The body is long: 5,195 mm from end to end and 1,994 mm across, on a 2,920 mm wheelbase, with height quoted between 1,905 and 2,002 mm, the only dimension that varies noticeably.

The price list covers 13 versions, from 379,800 to 427,800 yuan. The two ends of that band are not separated by output or by drive layout but by seat count, battery size and equipment. Sales in China over the past 12 months came to 9,240 cars.
