Exeed ES

The Exeed ES is an executive sedan for the Chinese market whose range mixes battery-electric versions with series hybrids. Sales over 12 months came to 3,684 cars.

The output band is wide, from 185 to 353 kW, or 251 to 480 hp. Hybrid versions add a 1,499 cc combustion engine rated to the China 6 emission standard. A single-speed reduction gear is used throughout, and drive is either rear, with the motor at the back, or all-wheel drive with two electric motors.

Batteries differ markedly, from 34.7 to 100.2 kWh, and the quoted range spans 255 to 905 km. One body serves the whole family: 4,945 mm long, 1,978 mm wide, on a 3,000 mm wheelbase, with height between 1,467 and 1,489 mm. Seating is for five. Factory prices vary more than anything else, from 152,800 to 339,800 yuan, and the series has been built since 2024.

For battery-electric cars and series hybrids the threshold sits at 58.84 kW, about 80 hp. All 28 versions are above it, the least powerful one by a wide margin.
