Deepal S07

The Deepal S07 covers the mid-size crossover slot on the Chinese market. The series mixes battery-electric versions with range-extender hybrids, where the combustion engine works as a generator rather than driving the wheels.

The series has been in production since 2023 and has grown to 51 versions. The spread in battery size and driving range within it is noticeably wider than the spread in power.

Output runs from 160 to 200 kW, equal to 217–271 hp. Drive is to the rear wheels with the motor at the rear, and the transmission is always a single-speed reduction gear. Depending on the version, the combustion engine displaces 1480 or 1497 cc.

Batteries differ by a factor of several times, from 19 to 80 kWh, and the claimed range follows, from 121 to 630 km. The body is 4750 mm long, 1930 mm wide and 1625 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2900 mm, with 5 seats.

Factory prices run from 149,900 to 217,900 yuan. The emission rating is China 6. All 51 versions are above the 58.84 kW power threshold set for electric and range-extender cars. Sales over the past 12 months came to 56,564 cars.
