The Deepal L07 is a mid-size sedan built for the Chinese domestic market. The line-up splits in two: fully electric versions and range-extender hybrids, in which the combustion engine turns a generator while an electric motor drives the wheels.
The sedan has been in production since 2024. There are 21 versions, and what separates them is mainly the traction battery and the driving range, since the body is the same throughout.
Output sits between 160 and 200 kW, or 217 to 271 hp. Drive goes to the rear wheels, with the motor mounted at the rear. There is no stepped gearbox: torque passes through a single-speed reduction gear. The combustion engine displaces 1497 cc, roughly 1.5 litres.
Battery capacity spans a wide band, from 28.4 to 68.8 kWh, and the claimed range runs from 230 to 660 km. The body is 4875 mm long, 1890 mm wide and 1480 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 2900 mm, with seating for 5.
Factory prices start at 145,900 yuan and reach 173,900 yuan. The emission rating is China 6. All 21 versions sit above the 58.84 kW power threshold. Sales over the past 12 months came to 14,058 cars.
