Chery Fulwin Fulwin A8风云A8

The Fulwin A8 is a compact sedan sold under the Chery Fulwin badge and built by Chery, on the market since 2024. The series consists entirely of plug-in hybrids, and 5,462 cars were sold in China over the past 12 months.

Combustion engines across the series are near-identical in size, at 1,498 or 1,499 cc, close to 1.5 litres in both cases. Output is what separates the versions, running from 75 to 115 kW, roughly 102 to 156 hp, with the China 6 emission rating throughout.

Two battery sizes are offered, 9.5 and 18.7 kWh. Electric range across the versions is quoted between 70 and 145 km.

The body measures 4,780 mm long, 1,843 mm wide and 1,487 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm and 5 seats. Those numbers hold for every version, so the differences lie in the powertrain rather than the shell.

The price list runs to 14 versions, from 79,900 to 149,900 yuan, a wide spread for one series. The 117.68 kW mark is not in play here: the strongest version is rated at 115 kW, leaving all 14 below it.
