Changan UNI-T

A compact crossover from Changan for the Chinese domestic market: the UNI-T has been built since 2020 and keeps to the conventional layout — a combustion engine, front-wheel drive and seating for five.

Body dimensions move across the range: length from 4515 to 4580 mm, width from 1870 to 1905 mm, height from 1545 to 1565 mm. The wheelbase stays at 2710 mm on every car.

Engine size spreads from 1494 to 1998 cc, which means the range holds both a 1.5 and a 2.0 litre unit. Output goes from 132 kW (179 hp) to 171 kW (232 hp). One type of transmission is fitted throughout, a wet dual-clutch transmission, listed with 7 speeds on part of the range. The emission standard is China 6.

Two engine sizes on a single wheelbase split the series in half: the lower versions and the upper ones differ above all in what is under the bonnet. All 24 versions on the price list sit above the 117.68 kW mark.

Factory prices run from 113,900 to 149,900 yuan, and sales in China over the past 12 months came to 675 cars.
