Changan Qiyuan Q05

The Q05 is a compact crossover in the Changan Qiyuan range, assembled by Changan Nevo for the Chinese domestic market. The whole series is battery-electric, and what mainly separates one version from another is the amount of energy it carries.

Power is a single figure across the range, 120 kW or about 163 hp, and it holds for all 10 versions, which takes output off the list of things to compare. There is no multi-speed gearbox; a single-speed reducer does the job instead.

Battery capacity runs from 40.3 to 51.9 kWh and quoted range from 405 to 506 km. The body barely changes, at 4,435 mm long and 1,855 mm wide on a 2,735 mm wheelbase, with only height varying between versions, from 1,595 to 1,600 mm. Seating is for 5.

The price list holds 10 versions from 79,900 to 114,900 yuan, and the series has been built since 2026. By power the whole line-up sits above the 58.84 kW threshold, with no version below it. Body, transmission and seat count are common to every car here, so the price gap inside the range has nothing to do with power. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 100,602 cars.
