Changan UNI-Z New Energy is a compact crossover with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, aimed at buyers inside China. Sales in the country over the past 12 months came to 51,598 cars.

The price list holds 9 versions and they do not differ in the powertrain at all: an engine of 1,497 cc, just under 1.5 litres, and 72 kW, about 98 hp. One transmission serves the whole series, a CVT, and the emissions rating recorded for the series is China 6.

The battery is a single one as well, at 18.4 kWh, and quoted electric range falls between 125 and 130 km. Whatever separates the entries in the price list, it is not the mechanical package.

Factory prices run from 117,900 to 135,900 yuan, a narrow corridor for a series of 9 entries. The car has been built since 2024 and remains in production. Against the 117.68 kW mark, the figure that equals 160 hp, all 9 versions sit below it, with none above.
