BYD Han L汉L

BYD covers the executive segment with the Han L, a full-size sedan offered in China. The line-up is short but far from uniform: battery-electric cars and plug-in hybrids sit side by side under one name.

The spread of output inside the family is very wide: the entry step makes 115 kW, about 156 hp, while the top one is quoted at 810 kW, roughly 1,101 hp. Hybrid versions carry a 1,498 cc engine, around 1.5 litres, rated to the China 6 emission standard. Two transmissions are listed, a CVT and a single-speed reduction gear, and drive is either rear-wheel or all-wheel, the latter with two electric motors. Of the 6 versions, 3 stay below the power threshold and 3 sit above it.

Battery capacity runs from 29.4 to 83.2 kWh and quoted range from 180 to 701 km. Unlike the mechanical side, the body is the same throughout: 5,050 mm long, 1,960 mm wide, 1,505 mm tall, on a 2,970 mm wheelbase, with 5 seats.

Factory prices start at 209,800 yuan and reach 279,800. The series has been built since 2025, and sales over 12 months came to 16,217 cars.
