BYD Seal 06 DM-i Touring海豹06 DM-i旅行版

The Seal 06 DM-i Touring is a mid-size plug-in hybrid that BYD sells on its home market in China. Over the past 12 months the series accounted for 24,774 cars sold there.

All 7 versions use the same combustion engine of 1,498 cc, about 1.5 litres, working through a CVT, and rated output is common to the whole range at 74 kW, near 101 hp. Emissions are certified to the China 6 standard.

Battery and range provide the spread: capacity moves from 10.1 to 34.3 kWh and quoted distance from 80 to 300 km, which is where the gap between the entry version and the top one shows most clearly. Body dimensions, by contrast, are fixed: 4,850 mm long, 1,890 mm wide and 1,505 mm tall, on a 2,790 mm wheelbase, with 5 seats.

The price list opens at 109,800 yuan and closes at 139,900, and the series has been built since 2025. With engine, transmission and body shared across the range, the pricing ladder is built around the battery. Output leaves all 7 versions below the 117.68 kW mark, the equivalent of 160 hp, with none climbing above it.
