Buick Century世纪

Century is a large Buick minivan built for China by SAIC-GM Buick. Seating changes from version to version: four-, six- and seven-seat cabins are all part of the range.

On sale since 2023. All 12 versions are built around a single hybrid drivetrain: a 1,998 cc (2.0-litre) combustion engine, a nine-speed automatic and drive to the front wheels. Output is quoted identically across the line at 174 kW (237 hp), which puts the whole range above the 117.68 kW (160 hp) mark, with nothing below it. The emission standard is China 6.

Dimensions match the upper end of the minivan class: 5,230 mm long, 1,980 mm wide and 1,864 to 1,867 mm tall. The wheelbase is 3,130 mm, and it governs the space left for the second and third rows.

Factory prices run from 469,900 to 699,900 yuan. The spread inside one range is wide, and it does not come from the mechanical side: engine, transmission and drive layout are shared by every version. Sales over 12 months on the Chinese market came to 3,922 cars.
