蓝电 E5

E5 is a mid-size crossover for the Chinese market built as a plug-in hybrid: an internal combustion engine works together with a traction battery that is charged from the grid. The cabin was offered in five- and seven-seat layouts.

The combustion side of the system is an engine of 1498 cc, or 1.5 litres, rated at 81 kW, which is 110 hp. It drives the front wheels through a CVT. The factory engine designation is F31A, and the car is certified to the China 6 emission standard. That 81 kW figure covers the whole line-up: on output the versions do not differ at all.

Depending on the version, the traction battery holds between 17.5 and 19.4 kWh. The stated driving range is quoted from 100 to 110 km.

One body serves the whole range: 4760 mm long, 1865 mm wide, 1710 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2785 mm.

Factory prices run from 99,800 to 153,900 yuan across 15 versions in the price list. The model was built from 2023 to 2024, and 12,801 units were sold in China over 12 months. All 15 versions remain below the 117.68 kW line, equal to 160 hp, and nothing in this series stands above it.
