凌宝汽车 BOX

BOX is a small electric city car offered on the Chinese market, where it has been built since 2020. Over the past 12 months 3,942 cars of the series were sold in China.

The line-up runs to 41 versions, and with a single drive layout it is the powertrain that tells them apart. All of them are front-wheel drive, with a single-speed reduction gear rather than a stepped gearbox, and all of them are electric; no version has an internal combustion engine.

Motor output is modest: from 25 kW, or 34 hp, to 45 kW, which is 61 hp. Battery capacity runs from 14.1 to 35.1 kWh, and the claimed driving range is quoted between 140 and 351 km.

The body varies slightly across the range: length from 3,460 to 3,584 mm and height from 1,615 to 1,666 mm, while the width of 1,475 mm and the wheelbase of 2,455 mm are the same for every version. Seating is for 4, and no other layout is offered.

Factory prices run from 32,800 to 68,800 yuan. In output terms the entire series stays below the 58.84 kW mark — not one of the 41 versions goes above it.
