Bestune Xiaoma小马

Bestune Xiaoma is an electric microcar that FAW Bestune has built for the Chinese market since 2024. Over the past 12 months 84,989 cars were sold in China.

The dimensions are urban in the most literal sense: 3,000 mm long, 1,510 mm wide, 1,630 mm tall, on a wheelbase of 1,953 mm. The cabin seats 4. The dimensions and the wheelbase together mark out what the car is for: city use and short trips.

The price list holds 17 versions. Output goes from 20 kW (27 hp) to 30 kW (41 hp), drive is to the rear wheels from a rear-mounted motor, and the transmission is a single-speed reduction gear. All 17 versions stay below the 58.84 kW mark on output.

Battery capacity runs from 9.4 to 18.1 kWh and the claimed driving range from 122 to 222 km. No version carries a combustion engine: the only energy type in the price list is electric.

The body is the same throughout, so the differences come down to motor, battery and driving range. Factory prices start at 24,900 yuan and reach 53,900 yuan.
